Lively atmosphere, clean rooms, family-friendly environment, and very helpful staff make this an excellent value. My only complaint is that it can get a little noisy in the courtyard in the evenings. I stayed here for two weeks leading a student group, and would definitely stay here again. David, from USA ~ 14th Jul 2012

I had a single room. It was beautiful and clean with lovely city views. Hostel is well-located and has a pleasant bar/eating area with very edible meals. Not all staff are confident with basic English so this could be a problem for travellers ill-equipped in survival Mandarin. No tours are organised from the hostel which seems a shame as there seemed to be a demand for this service. I enjoyed my stay here very much and would happily return.
