Perfect for the area. The walls are thin and the rooms echo so any noise in the apartment is going to be heard throughout all of the rooms.

No view, but we had a kitchen. All of their doubles are actually little apartments - a great deal, when you think about it! Riomaggiore is chill, and the perfect place to stay out of the 5.

This was not a hostel, buta small apartment with almost no furniture in sitting room, the kitchen was minimally furnished, there was no shower curtain, and my mattress needed to be replaced as it had a hole in it. It was close to the train station.

La Dolce Vida is situated in Riomaggore which is an unbelieveable town directly opposite of Monterosso. The Hostel is pretty typical but the kitchen and bathroom were unusually very useful and clean.

Be sure of one nothing: a stay in La Dolce Vita is great. Location is perfect, near trattorias, shops, bus stop, and not far from the train station to visit 5 Terre. The staff is really helpfull, our room was clean and confortable, we get no TV and no view from the window but whatever. This was the ideal place during 2 nights for us, why not for you? Enjoy it!

lots of steps to actual room - nice view from window. 2 single beds pushed together that came apart all the time. bathroom was tiny and needed shower head on the wall.

This was a good solution, but our room (which was an apartment in a residential building) was a fair way from town.
