We had a great stay here. The location is great, a short 10-minute walk from the microcentre, and the hostel was always clean and felt safe. We were given keys for very large lockers which was such a luxury! The kitchen is nicely equipped as well. Some staff was more helpful than others, but generally very nice and welcoming. It's a bit far from the party-street Villanueva, but that's a good thing if you prefer quiet and calm. I would stay here again! Anne, from Denmark ~ 30th Apr 2012

I ended up staying longer than expected in Mendoza and enjoyed everything about my stay at Largares. The staff were excellent and the services provided for tours were really great. The hostel is small and very clean. Carin, from USA ~ 25th Mar 2012

It´s not just a hostel, it´s a home and the family Javier, Damian, Fabricio and Gonzalo makes the stay the best I had in Argentina. Remember to try their BBQ if you get a chance. That´s really a treat!! Kim, from Denmark ~ 3rd Feb 2012

It's a beautiful small hostel in Mendoza. Everybody, i.e. staff and travelers were extremely nice. It's really clean. The asado-evening was unbelievable (so much good meat). When I was there "Hugo's Bikerides" into the vinyards (a must-do!) were for free in case you stayed three nights or longer. Would definitely come here again! Lea, from Germany ~ 12th Nov 2011

My stay at Lagares has been wonderful. I found exactly what I needed while here. The hostel has a fun and very helpful staff that greet you each day with a warm smile and open heart to welcome you into their establishment. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time I was here, which was good for a woman traveling by herself. I will be in and out of Mendoza for the next 5 months or so and I know exactly where to stay upon my return into the city.
