I loved this place so much I cancelled my other hostels on my trip and added 6 nights to Lobo Inn.Tulum is so relaxed away from the hustle of playa del carmen and cancun.You get a bike and your a couple hundred meters from the ruins and beach.I couldnt have asked for anything more.When we spent out last two nights in Cancun before flying out we were sad that we werent enjoying the atmosphere of Lobo.For now on Lobo is the bench mark for all hostels in my future Joshua, from USA ~ 10th May 2012

Even as a mature couple, we had a great time at the LOBO. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.The other guests were also very friendly and we enjoyed their youthful energy.The room was clean with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed free use bikes and the breakfasts were very good.It is a great deal in a beautiful place and we truly enjoyed our stay. Peter, from USA ~ 31st Jan 2012

Are there any well-located hostels in Tulum? Not, really. This one works fine though since they prevent you with bikes. 5 min to Ruins, 10 to the beach, 15 to the cenote. Messy kitchen and dirty pool.. Not very nice. Still OK price with breakkie and helpful with tourbooking. Carl Jimmy, from Sweden ~ 13th Jan 2012

to start with they sold our room to other costumer because we arrived after 18.00 hours. We tried to contact with them by phone because our flight was delied and the telephone showed at this webpage was wrong. After manage with the recepcionist he founs us a single bed for 2 people. The second night, he almost sell again our bed because we have tidy it and he thought we already left.... to clean seems to be forbiden at this place, the wc was dirty and shared for more than 7 people in the same r LAURA, from Spain ~ 9th Jan 2012

if you are between 18 and 25, with an european passport, traveling in a shoestring and consider a shower as something optional in your life, this place is tailormade for you! The room is filthy and sort of messy, but everything was ok, except for the fact that our room WAS INVADED at 3:30 AM by one of the staff members with no reason!!, there were some panties hung besides our room (not mine, I swear), and they tried to overcharge us in 120 pesos the day we left. leonardo, from Colombia ~ 2nd Jan 2012

bed bugs! they have pool but it is so dirty you can hardly see the buttom of it. rude staff. lots of cats everywhere (kitchen, on the tables etc) in general - will never stay there again. I don't recomend it Agata, from Poland ~ 14th Jul 2011
