Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They set us up with some great restaurants, gave us directions and were generally awesome. Rooms were very clean, wifi worked well and breakfast was really tasty. A great place to base yourself while in Ho Chi Mihn. Trevor, from USA ~ 18th May 2012

Luan Vu exceeded our expecatations.Thao and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and kind.Our room was comfortable, clean, and modern.Luan Vu is located in the heart of the backpacker's district and is close to ATMs, street food,shopping, and great sightseeing. The people are wonderful! The hotel is extremely clean and the fan and air-con were fantastic, my friends who were lodging in 5 star hotel in the city commented the air-con was better than theirs! The location is easy to get to many places, it is near most things, and most importantly, it is quiet. However, this is not the place to go if you want to make friends who are traveling around the region as it is not much of a backpackers' hostel. All in all, a wonderful stay! I liked too much to stay in Luan Vu Hostel. It is a very good place to stay: organized, cleaned, quiet to sleep, the staff is very friendly and helpfully. The location is privileged, close of many touristic places. You can go walking for many places: market, cathedral, museum! And the tours offered by hostel are very good: cheap, organized, extremely ponctual, the guides are very friendly and helpfully. I had a very nice time in Luan Vu Hostel and recommend for everyone. One of the best hostels I have stayed in in South East Asia. The rooms are kept perfectly clean & have all the facilities you'd expect of a good hotel for hostel prices. The location is perfect, right in the midst of the action but rooms remain surprisingly quiet. The staff are excellent, very friendly and extremely helpful. Tours and transport can be easily arranged without any hassle. Free breakfast, tea/coffee faciilities in the room & free wifi are also big plus points. Highly recommended.
