Lugu Lake Youth Hostel in Lugu Lake, China

There is no cold water during the hours of 11pm to 6am! There is no hot water between the hours of abt 10am and 6pm! While staying there in June 2012 there were times that the hostels pump broke down and there was no water at all! To make matters worse the staff lied and said the the whole village had no water, I checked next door and they had water. I was told that this is a frequent occurrance at this hostel. Stayed 2 nights at Lige Village at lugu lake and the nature was AMAZING. We stayed at a twin bedroom and it was pretty cold. One of the staff new some english but she helped us with bustickets to Lijiang. Tobias, from Sweden ~ 19th Oct 2011
