its cold but good hostel. enjoy. also location is good because you can get on metro or tram at corvin station. and there is a big shopping center near to hostel. burak, from Turkey ~ 11th Apr 2013

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja i opis dojazdu, kuchnia bardzo bogato wyposażona (kuchenka, mikrofalówka, garki, patelnie, zastawa...). Właściciel mówi po angielsku i jest bardzo życzliwy. Minusem są łazienki, które nie są zbyt higieniczne Polecam! P.S. Do ceny podanej na stronie należy doliczyć podatek (7,5 euro za 2 noce dla 5 osób) . Lindner, from Poland ~ 27th Feb 2013

The reviews for Mandarin Hostel weren't promising, but I found the facilities to be quite adequate. The rooms were kept clean, even if the restrooms sometimes were not. (Do bring toilet paper towels may be rented.) The owner speaks quite decent English and was quite accommodating. . Patrik, from USA ~ 31st Dec 2012

It's very pleasan place in good localization, near to metro, in very good known district, close to Central Market (10 minutes on foot through the streets of restaurants). Bathroom and toilet were very dirty. Old beds, old bedding. Staff was nice, but a little bit strange. We stayed only one night there, and I was very happy to leave it. Anna, from Poland ~ 25th Sep 2012

No toilet paper in restrooms. Nobody plugged toilet so I had dubious pleasure to watch my feces floating around in toilet bowl. Kitchen facilities terrible as well. Out of 4 heating panels in the cooker only 1 was actually working. Many many little things that annoys you. No corkscrew (c'mon it's a hostel :), non of the knives was sharp. Basically it looked like, the owner didn't care about conditions. Only good thing about the hostel is its localization - close to city center and metro s Lech, from Poland ~ 8th Sep 2012

The place is situated close to Corvin Metro3 station and 10 min from Donau(Danube)..Its in a quiet neighborehood and security in top.. nice cosy yard... Inside the things have improved though the second Computer is still not functionable. Uffe, from Denmark ~ 30th Jun 2012
