Spent my last 2 nights in KL at Matahari Lodge,the staff was very nice and helpful,of course there's cheaper places in town,but with appr.40RM for a single room of this standard it doesn't get much better.Good value for money and only 2 minutes away from the Pasar Seni train station. We were told the room twin room we reserved was not available. They offered instead 2 single rooms at no added cost. We refused as we wanted to stay together. After much discussion, we were eventually given a twin room. Oh why did they have to tell a lie? Norman, from Philippines ~ 26th Feb 2012

I didn't love this place as much as some others seem to. It's perfectly clean, conveniently located, and staff were friendly and helpful enough. But the rooms are stark and bland, impersonal and windowless. Next time in KL I'll try elsewhere. Bianca, from Australia ~ 8th Aug 2011
