Me Mates Place in Bariloche, Cambodia

I had only booked one night, which was good, because otherwise I would have left after that night anyway. I stayed in one of the 4 bed dorm with ensuite bathroom. The other girls in that room had moved in the same day. The room had not been cleaned before our arrival. It was dirty, especially the floor and the bathroom. My bed didnt have fresh sheet, but the staff was helpful and changed them quickly. Unfortunately I discovered later that the new sheets were stained as well... Very friendly staff and in-house bar and restaurant. Within walking distance to the restaurants and bars on the river promenade, so no need for those dangerous moto rides at night. Simon, from Germany ~ 29th Mar 2012

Me Mates is a nice place to stay if you're looking for places that are clean and with bargaining rates. Ppl say it's far the major dining spots but i think the location is acceptable, it's actually a 10 mins walk from the night market it's near the riverside. dirty sheets the first night, had to change them ourselves, droped the dirty sheets on the floor. couple days later cleaning staff took dirty sheets from the floor and put them back on our bed. internet only works in the common area which you will be asked to leave latest at midnight. payed out own transport to the hostel although they said a Tuk Tuk would pick us up - no refund. Boring atmosphere. Prices in their restaurant are to high for what you get. Don´t buy trips at Hostel cuz overpriced Hendrik, from Germany ~ 3rd Feb 2012

Very nice and clean, however, not the cheapest in Phnom Penh! The restaurant is also on the pricey side, but never had a better breakfast (omlette) and dinner on my trip!! They are not pushy with trips, they are very relaxed, good english... Had Fun there! Amir, from Germany ~ 3rd Jan 2012

First the good things. The cleanliness is very good and the queen beds are a nice touch. Now the bad, everything is quite far, except but the wat phnom that you will see only once. Restaurants and stuff are 10 mins walking distance. The common area closes at 12pm with a guy pushing you to close your laptop and turning lights off, it was really annoying considering the fact that the wireless in the 5th floor didnt work (and i got to work!).
