I needed a Doctor.My Travel Insurance phoned me at 8.00 but although Reception was opened , they were not able to receive call phones.Then the Doctor phoned the hostel some times to get in touch with me but he was not able till 10.00. how can this be?

We also have a public phone in the hostel where you can receive phone calls 24 hours a day.

very wet and damp place, no proper aeration very cold no proper & sufficent heating => funghi on the walls

First of all, you only stayed one night in one room (we've 5) and you talk about the hole place, when you simply don't know. That night (Easter), the hole place was packed, even though the heating did run for several hours, as every cold day. There was a very good ambience too, by the way. The room you stayed in has 2 working radiators and four more people to heat it. Can't believe you were cold. No proper aeration? The room you stayed in has a big luminous gallery with up to 8 windows that you can open. We clean daily and even when galician climate makes it easy for the mold to be everywhere, the house is mostly free of it. You should have visited the city and see some other houses... but as I said earlier, staying 1 day doesn't allow you to make appropiate comments about city or hostel. This is the right place for critics, mainly constructive ones, but not for lies to our guests.

The hostel is a little far from the city center (30min walking).But by taxi its like 2min and it only costs 5€. Its very clean and the boy from staff it was very helpfull. By the morning the kitchen it was not so cleaned and for breakfast it was only bread because the milk was over.

You must have taken a loooooong way to the center because we are only 5 minutes walking to the old town (10 minutes to the cathedral).

It would be very nice to have staff 24 hours a day. There is not enough breakfast for everybody, only for a few people, since there is not staff, we could not get more food. Melissa, from Mexico ~ 19th Aug 2011
