This is the same Hostel as H2Ostel. Don't believe the pictures, there's no kitchen unless you're in a special room. The 'common area' is the reception, there'sa couple of chairs for the computers and a small couch. Buut, the staff are pretty cool and helpful, the room is very comfy and clean and the location is awesome, it's not in the middle of downtown, which makes it a better place to rest, and as Ljubljana is such a small city, in 5 minutesyou get anywhere (maybe 15 to the train stati Lucas, from Brazil ~ 8th Nov 2011

The location is very confusing: there is no sign out front, as the hostel is run/owned/in the same facilities as the H2Ostel (so look for that sign instead). I'm not sure how they're even considered separate entities. Its a perfect location though, 10min max from the train, and just across the river from the old town. It was the low season so even though i booked a bigger dorm, they put me in a smaller 3 bed at no extra charge, which was nice. The shower was bad - broken showerhead. Wifi only works in the common area, and even then it's a poor connection. When I arrived, I asked about laundry, and the receptionist told me there was no laundry service. Later I asked a different person, and she told me there was. The next morning when I brought the laundry, the receptionist said "who told you there was laundry service?" and seemed really annoyed. She took it, but it was weird. Not a bad place to stay, but could be alot better. Krystle, from USA ~ 5th Sep 2011

the hostel is in a great location but the room exuded a palpable smell of foot odor and garbage adam, from USA ~ 23rd Aug 2011

Please fix the electricity switches and wireing before letting people move in. This is extremely dangerous. I Dont mind the other construction stuff. Love the cleanliness. A plus would be soap in the bathroom since This little service is appreciated and would match the price. Thanks! Matilda, from Sweden ~ 9th Aug 2011

The location is great, right in the centre of Ljubljana! There is free and fast wi-fi and they rent bikes at a reasonable price. However, there was some misleading information regarding parking! Car parking IS NOT FREE in this hostel, and the only way to park the car for free during our stay was to go across town to a hostel of the same owners to park the car and then return on foot to the centre. Additionally, the room was noisy and had lots of gnats and there were no blind on the window so we Maria, from Portugal ~ 23rd Aug 2011

The location is perfect for exploring the city - five minutes from the bus/train station and right next to the Dragon Bridge. The room wasn't terribly clean and the bathroom looked like a poorly done/unfinished reno, but it wasn't that bad for a hostel.Free internet is great. Most Hostel was (June 2011) a 'work in progress' ie being refurbished... The riverside location is prefect for the town, just 5 mins to Preseren Sq, and the room was nice in an unfinished sort of way... After the refurbishment this will be a great place to stay! Somewhere to hang stuff would be a nice addition, and lower prices during the building work would have been a nice touch, but generally a really good base for seeing lovely Ljubljana :o) Stephen, from England ~ 8th Jun 2011
