Oliver St. John Gogarty in Tel Aviv, Irsko

Having made a prior phone call to Gogartys I was expeciting my booking to be 2 x 4 bedded rooms with 3 of our party of 6 in each room (and paying the excess of 1 per room) with the exception of 30-5-11 when it would be 4 in one room. Instead our accommodation was 1 x 4 bedded room and 1 shared room with STRANGERS.As we are in our 60's, and a couple, we were dumfounded to have to share with 2 v.young guys. It was MOST embarassing for me. The reception staff just kept repeating this was the only a Irene, from Scotland ~ 1st Jun 2011

The Gogarty couldn't have been better. The staff was incredibly fun, informative and welcoming. Their front desk staff were the nicest hostel employees I have ever met. Plus, being in the very middle of the Temple Bar neighborhood made for a very fun weekend. Definitely recommend staying here. I know I will on my next trip to Dublin! Edward, from USA ~ 3rd Jul 2011
