most important - it's perfect location!!! the carpet in room was very old and dirty, on the ground floor windows don't lock! but staff is very friendly and helpful, rest rooms and shower are clean enough, and there is little kitchen with stove, fridge, pots and pans - so you can cook if you want! no free internet - too bad :( but overall very good accommodation for this price Oksana, from Ukraine ~ 11th Dec 2011

The hostel was very nice. The location is excellent and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in the Orange Drive Manor Hostel for 3 nights. For 5$/day we could park behind the hostel which was very helpful. We had to pay a deposit of 50$ (cash) which we got back the day we checked out. The location of this hostel is perfect as you are 2 mins away from Hollywood Blvd but it's quiet at night. I found the staff not very friendly and had to sleep in reception whilst waiting for my room when I was later told my bed was always empty so I could have gone in. It's an old house so facilities aren't great but fine for a few days. I met some amazing people here so had a great time!! Christina, from England ~ 15th Sep 2011
