I stayed in piya hostel for a couple of nights. what i really missed was a computer area with computers for the customers to use. of course they have wifi but you need your own device. Gaby, from Germany ~ 16th May 2013

Stayed for 4 nights. Great location, 5-minute walk to Hagia Sophia. Booked Double Bed Private/Share bathroom, but was upgraded to a room with ensuite bathroom and kitchen. Room was clean, spacious and warm during winter. Separate kitchen with dining table/chairs, stove, kettle, and fridge. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. Breakfast small but fresh (1 egg, few pieces of cucumber, tomato, cheese, coffee or tea, and plenty of bread). Good value for money, would stay here agai Yun Ju Sandy, from USA ~ 26th Dec 2012

Staying in Piya was a great experience. Few minutes from the most important turist attraction. The 8 bed room was a bit crammed, but the sheets were clean, and the room was mopped every day. We had an excellent time during our four days at Piya Hostel. The staff was super friendly, the place was very clean and the beds/comforters were some of the best I've ever experienced at a hostel. The hostel is located very near the historic district of Istanbul in a unique neighborhood of wooden houses. This made for a neat walk home every night.
