Pocitos is a great place to stay. The people who work there are extremely helpful and kind. It felt more like staying with one big family than staying at a hostel. We had many long coversations into the night over wine and had a asado one night that was delicious and a great time. I recommend Pocitos highly. Gabriel, from USA ~ 3rd Jan 2013

The hostel is close to the beach, but rather far from the old town. This is no problem because the bus stop is on the next corner. Good kitchen, new showers, but very low water pressure.The matrasses and pillows would need a replacement. When I was there the outside temp was 3C at night: I can not recommend this hostel in winter since there is no heating in the dorms. The only heating in the whole hostel, as far as I have seen it, is a relatively small fireplace in the hall/reception area. Angelique, from Switzerland ~ 13th Jun 2012
