staff were very friendly & helpful. the bunks were very low,just a very small space between the top & bottom ones. a bit light on showers & toilets.

Glad you mostly had good stay. Sorry you found the facilities in the dormitories a little lacking; perhaps the single private room might have been a better choice? Maybe next time!

What a nice surprise to find such a good hostel "off the beaten track" .... very friendly and helptul! The whole staffAustratian, Scot, etc. extremely helpful. I've stayed in 75-100 hostels and this one ranks right up there!only downside is climbing all the stairs, but worth it. Greg

A really great hostel, highly recommended. Felt really cozy, homey and friendly, without the touristic and impersonal feeling of bigger hostels. The owners & staff are extremely nice and helpful, and organize great social activities for the guests (I loved the lake:)). Stay here to fully enjoy this hidden-gem of a city. :)

Thanks for your review, but we should thank you too- it's the guests that make the social activities great and especially with throwing the volleyball around out at the lake...! Please come and see us again some day.
