San Francisco International Hostel in San Diego, Amerika

All of their money went into the lobby and public areas, which were clean and inviting. The rooms were a different story! We stayed in a 4bdrm ensuite, which DID NOT look like the pictures they have online. It was DISGUSTING. The bathroom was so nasty that we ended up using the public ones instead. The room was always freezing because the bathroom window was broken. Who knows the last time they washed the blankets, because mine looked like there was crusty jiz all over it! PRO: location!

Kamie although the hostel does it's best to clean the 3rd largest hoste in america clean, we can't be responsible for the cleanliness of your roomates as we did have complaints. I'm Glad you did find the public bathrooms clean as they are clean everyday. Cheers

It was a good place but the only thing that was confusing was about the kitchen system. A staff was not sure about how it is working so he told us wrong thing, which lead us to make someone else upset. The room was spacious enough and there were free water, coffee, and tea, which is very nice for people who are saving money. Mami, from Japan ~ 16th May 2012

Far and away the best hostel I've stayed at anywhere. This place is a lot of fun. Great pancakes, fun staff, not to mention free beer! It was clean, the matress was unexpectedly very comfortable, and I cannot think of one thing to complain about. Halls had a funky smell that ended up being the smell of the room, too.Lack of mirrors, closets with toilets in them being called bathrooms.Also, the SMELL of the place.Stained mattresses. On the plus side, free beer after 9.Wifi reached the higherst floor.The location is the best. In joyed my stay. I like the dance hall they provide every night, and I especially love the all you can eat free pancakes! I also recommend Karaoke every night. I booked another 5 days. So far, this is the best Hostel in San Francisco. Sophia, from USA ~ 20th Apr 2012
