Good location. Rooms are clean but a bit basic: they are small, there aren’t hangers or shelves (only lockers), the few existent plugs only worked with the individual light on. Wc was even smaller. Breakfast included but you can’t help yourself and have to choose a set menu. Although not being a Christian I knew the hostel was, however there are a little too many religious messages and leaflets spread all over the place! martha, from Portugal ~ 22nd Apr 2012

Maybe this is the worst hostel i have been, dirty, cold, the mattress is like a sheet on the coil spring, no cooking and eating places, and expensive, i paid 45 euros for one night(20 people in one room, i admit that maybe it is because of the Easter). nice hostel in the centre of Amsterdam.everything was fine.lockers in smaller rooms&on the floor (bring your own padlock or buy one at the reception).located at the red light disctrict but with own security (show your ID to get in).everything you need nearby: supermarket, tube, railway station (5 minutes on foot), cafes and bars.they offer a bible curse in the evening but you don't have to join.stuff is really kind.breakfast is ok.got a cat (keep in mind for allergy sufferers).recommendable Hanna, from Germany ~ 10th Apr 2012

Great location, safe and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was small, but included in the price. I stayed in a 16 bed room and it wasn't bad at all. The only downside was that beds were too closed to one another. You can meet new people in the restaurant, play the piano or the guitar or read. I'll definitely stay there again!
