Smart Hyde Park Inn in Singapore, Anglie

it's just a Hostel.I didn't expect more.You can stay there without any problem.I wouldn't mind t reapeat there. For me the Kitchen is really bad.They use plastics stuff,it's not well cleaned.Find a solution. People talk to fast, and make stuppid comments. They want to pay a cheap price and feel like in a Hotel. Staff was ok,they did their work,and they usually solve every problem. If that Hostel could have a Bar,it'll be great. The best that goes for this hostel is its location close to Hyde Park and its staff, whom I found to be nice and helpful. Everything else contributed to one of my worst ever hostel experiences. The place feels claustrophobic and other guests have been loud and horribly inconsiderate. It's not expensive and you won't get more than you pay for. Don't come here if you value your sleep. Would never stay again. It was dirty. The pillowcases are the funky one-time use ones, and when they handed it to me it was covered in hair and black stuff. When I asked for another one, they looked at me like I had two heads. The key card was COVERED in filthy, sticky gunk - to the point where I didn't want to touch it. The ensuite shower had a motion sensor light that was on the toilet side of the room, & it turned off every 15 seconds leaving you showering in the dark. The kitchen is horrible, untidy and dirty. There are no plates, glasses, pans, .....nothing to cook unless you pay for it! Even if you pay for it, it is not the kind of place you want to use! laura, from Spain ~ 8th Apr 2012
