All in all, excellent. The 3PM check in is a little late for my liking. But the hostel itself is clean, and in a great location.

This place is in a great location. It is within walking distance of all of the old town attractions. It is a block away from all of the restaurants on the Royal Mile and is a block away from the main train station. The downside was that the en-suite bathroom was dirty. There wasn't a lot of ventilation in the bathroom so everything always seemed wet, and the shower curtain was mildewed. Other than that I definitely recommend this hostel.

Great location. The staff was a little short at times. No towels provided, but you can get cheap ones at the Pound Stretcher down the street.

The room was too small. Had a double room with my mom and the space apart from the bed (2 floors bed) was too small that my mom and I cannot croos togeter. TV was broken and the staff could not fix it. But they were nice and breakfast was provided altho quite simple. Except those points it was good to stay!

Dorms cramped and out-dated with no cupboard space. But breakfast OK and brilliant city centre location.. so still good value for money.
