It would be easier for travelers to get to the hostel if the hostel could put out a bigger sign outside the gate Qiuhui, from China ~ 7th Feb 2013

My overall experience of the hostel was good. It would have been better with possibility to charge celllphones etc. in the dorms and I could have used a kitchen so it was possible to save money and cook food some days. Amsterdam is not cheap! The bed room was not very clean. Actualy it felt like the beds were not clean at all. My locker was full with garbage and food left overs! There was 2 toilets and 2 clenaning ladies, each ladie was cleaning one toilet and it took them about an hour. The problem was that there was no free toilet available for about an hour! and these ladies were not very frendly, no one could enter the toilet while cleaning no mather what! There was a tall, curly haired girl working at the lobby from whom I had to ask to help me to use the locker she told me twice to follow instuccions from the machine. I told her that I was having a difficult time to understand the machine´s system and still she refused to help me!. After more than 5 minutes struggling with the machine, she came to offer her assistance. My point here is that your staff should always try to help hostel´s clients, no matter how easy or "meaningless" things are. Martha, from Nicaragua ~ 26th Oct 2012
