Like probably everyone who didn't read the reviews, I was suprised about the "hostel" that turned out to be a comfortable appartment.It's like a big shared flat, where you can chill out on the couch or the balcony and prepare some food for you in the kitchen. This place is excellent! The hostel was recommended to me by my friends (who they remembered) and I have no regrets staying here. Leanne and her husband are amazing, kind and helpful people. They have truly opened their homes to their guests.They also had a family style breakfast and dinners which was delicious The rooms are clean and they have lockers and key cards for security.. There's no better place to stay in Guangzhou. Leanne, the hostess, has transformed her beautiful home into a warm, welcoming hostel. The hostel is about a 5 minute walk from the metro. Make sure to read the directions and learn the name of the building, it's easy to get lost your first time. It's a great location, with an adjacent park and a (:O) view of the city. It's clean, it's fun, the people are great, several showers. It feels like a home away from home. And Leanna is wonderful. Stay here. Joel, from USA ~ 2nd Oct 2012
