Lavro is a great guy and will help you with anything you need. The location, for me, is great, as I don't like being in the center of the city. It's only a quick tram ride into the center, very easy and with walk and ride takes only about 15 minutes. The facilities are immaculate, awesome kitchen, great lounge, comfy beds with nice mattresses, a garden outside with a fig tree and food growing. Very swanky, indeed! The facilities and the kindness of the staff are far above standard in this hostel. There is a great kitchen and livingroom. Rooms have airconditioning, which is not a luxury in the summer heat of Zagreb. Conluded, I highly recommend to stay at Swanky hostel during your stay in Zagreb.
