Hotel DEAUVILLE (Inn, hostel & crewhouse) in Addo, Amerika

A really nice hostel! Had booked for two nights and stayed one more. Lived in the dorm, its a regular room with bathroom and shower and three beds. AC worked well and there is a fan in the room as well. The owner was excellent!! The area around the hosel is calm, but your have 7/11 just around the corner and the watertaxi a few blocks away. Took 5 minutes to walk to the beach (the busy part of the beach is 10 minutes car-drive away) This is a great place to stay at, you get value for your money Emilie, from Sweden ~ 31st Mar 2012

The staff was exceptional. However, I had a problem with the security. There were no locks on the doors and the luggage was kept in a common area. This was a strong concern for me because one evening when I was lying awake, someone open the door to my room and looked in to see if anyone was there. I'm sorry but I am very confused... * "There were no locks on the doors and the luggage was kept in a common area"? - all of our rooms have locks & all guests are given a key to their respective room! - we don't store guests luggage in our common room; if guests choose to leave their luggage/ belongings in a 'common'/ unlocked area it is at their discretion! * "someone open the door to my room and looked in to see if anyone was there. When they noticed I was in my bed, they shut the door and left"? - was the door to your room locked? - what time did this occur; morning or night? MANAGEMENT

It wasn't the easiest place to find as the online directions from the airport were somewhat limited.Need to add that you catch the bus from the Rental Car Centre at the airport then add some description of what happens after you get on the number 11 bus.That said, once I arrived, the property manager was extremely informative, the place was great and I wish I could have stayed longer!!
