The Overstay in Budapest, Thailand

This place really makes you wanne overstay. The prices are more than fair. You can get an own room very cheap with a fan and the possibility to lock the door. There are music instruments in the hostel which can be played. Very nice staff! Isabelle, from Germany ~ 24th Jul 2011

This place is not for everyone, if you are exhibitionist this is your place. The private room i was offered even there were other options available by the online booking information had a darkened window viewable from the next room. Door was also unable to lock from the inside. Revealing this information caused a immidiate eviction, beware, you might get raped or worse.

Dear Mr Liimatainen, you came without reservation then as the dorm was full you Demanded a single room for a dormitory price . next time go to a grocery and Demand the more expensive product with a discount when the cheap one is out of stock. So what did you do ? You booked on line with our wifi just to be able to leave this pathetic comment. We didnt evict you we told you this is what we have , and if you do not like it we are sorry but we can't change it. Then you left. So please stop your lies "might get raped or worse" you are being RIDICULOUS. Hope you get better some day. Peace.

Well, it is the worst hostel in any points I've ever seen so far. No one to awnser me, graffiti everywhere, people sleeping everywhere around at 3pm(looking stone or drunk). I never had such a bad feeling about a place. I had a look around and at the dorm... and then I just left. The ambiance was really not nice. Maybe if I would have stay longer, it would have change my opinion about there but seriously, I would'nt recommend this place to anyone.

Annie did you find the dorm by yourself or did member of the hostel showed it to you (no one to answer to what ?) Graffiti on the walls are part of who we are and we are proud to have great artist coming to paint for free. We are an alternative place never said anything else. All in all you dont really know why you didnt like it, but you didnt fair play , but it also feel like you didnt fit in more than the place was bad in itself.

A wonderful place if you are ind of a person who loves interesting people who like doing interesting stuff. The hostel had diverse guests and some really interesting graffiti done on all the walls. Loads of music instruments. The staff was very helpful and kind to answer all our queries. Overall a must stay if you are in Bangkok and not very particular about cleanliness.
