The Wild Wild West Dallas Irving Backpackers is the most hospitable hostel I've ever been to. I've only spent one night there, but I am definitely going back. It is very easy to get there from the airport, the location is safe and staff was very friendly and helpful. You do really feel like home there! Just awesome! This hostel pleasantly surprised me. It is affordable ($25/night) and very pleasant overall.The owner, Ivan, is as friendly as can be and never hesitates to help guests navigate DFW.Wifi, laundry, and linens are included. A breakfast of waffles, eggs, cereal, and coffee is offered every morning for $5, an excellent value. My only complaints are the location and cleanliness.Both were acceptable, but I would've preferred a nicer area closer to Dallas and somewhat better cleanliness. Joshua, from USA ~ 1st Jun 2012

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's a small hostel, more like a house, which means you feel and get treated like family. The best thing about the place is Carlos who works there. He is a legend! Hes like a personal tour guide for the week, showed me around he knows everything about Dallas as he has live there his whole life. Public transport inst great anywhere in Dallas, but Carlos took me wherever I needed to go and picked me up at 3am when I was drunk in town.
