Transylvania Hostel in Moscow, Romania

I´ll never go there again. They don´t accept EURO and their rate for LEI isn´t good. Cameras are everywhere. You can go to the kitchen only with ask of staff. They have a cardsystem for door opening (deposit for card is 10 LEI) but it isn´t work good. I feld more as a child in school than customer.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that we cannot accept Euros. Romania is outside of the Euro zone, and the local laws require all transactions to be made in Lei. Just like you, we would always love a more favorable exchange rate, but unfortunately that is something beyond our control. Regarding the cameras and the keycard access to the kitchen, you are absolutely right! We take our guests� security very seriously, and we have taken steps to ensure a safe environment for everyone. In addition to the cameras we also have lockers in every dorm that are big enough for a huge backpack so your belongings will be as protected as you are. I can hardly remember a better experience in a hostel ever, and I've been to quite a few all around Europe. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I got to meet all of them. During my stay in the Transylvania Hostel of Cluj-Napoca I totally felt like home, they show me around the city and made me enjoy Cluj way more than I expected.
