Thank you very very very much for storing our backpacks for us while we did Bay to Breakers. We tried to pack light thinking we would have to take our stuff with us after checking out before the race but were so grateful that we didn't. Irene, from USA ~ 23rd May 2012

One of the best hostels I have stayed at in the US. It is well managed has decent facilities that are clean. Highlights: auto-locking key card doors, large lockers in rooms with outlets, outlet and small shelf on lower bunk, clean and neat bathrooms. Lows: most of the facilities like kitchen, lounge, etc., are in the basement, stairwells are narrow, neighborhood might not be the best for all people. Lane, from USA ~ 18th May 2012

I arrive @ the hotel after a 10 hour flight and check in was @ 11 am, so I had to wait @ the lobbyalmost 1 hr,until they can c/in me. Lobby looked messy and not clean, and when I arrived at my room the smell of alcohol made me sick, also bed and pillow looked not good.So, after only sleeping a couple of hours I told the lady from the front desk, that I was leaving, I was not even going to sleep a night there,and ask her to refund me 1 of the 2 nights I paid, but she said it wass not possible. - The music of night is very noisy. To the room, it was echoed and was noisy till around 1:00 a.m. - A dirty smell with a narrow room. - A bed is noisy in it being closely packed. - A shower room is narrow. The staff and location of the hostel was excellent. Found the room abit too warm for sleeping. Breakfast was better than expected i.e. fresh fruit. We had a good time at the hostel and loved visiting San Fran. Jan, from Canada ~ 22nd Mar 2012

Excellent accommodation with a friendly staff and clean facilities.The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.I'd stay again.The other hostel I stayed at seemed to maybe have some bedbugs.Although, I'm not positive.But USA Hostels had a high standard of maintenance which I assume was responsible for no such problems.
