Urban Central in Montevideo, Australia

We arrived late at night around 11pm only to find that Urban Central had lost our booking and one of us ended up sleeping on a roll away cot. Our 4 person share room then became a 5 person share room. Great location but the "free parking" is first come first served which was disappointing to us because that was why we booked in the first place. Don't stay on the first few floors if you're planning a quiet night in since the hostel has its own bar which can be quite loud. Rooms were clean. Sara, from Canada ~ 24th Oct 2011

Location was great. Within walking distance to everything, and if you don't feel like walking, the tram was a minute away. Restaurants and bars were close. Had an air-conditioner, although it didn't work the greatest.It worked well enough so we didn't have to have the window open. Beautiful view of the city from the 5th floor.Bathroom was clean.Staff was okay.They were not that helpful, but they were friendly. Beth, from USA ~ 6th Apr 2012

it was nice in urban central hostel. You enjoy free toast, juice, rice and noodles in the kitchen. its a couple of minutes for walk in the city or to jara river. So i can recomend the hostel andreas, from Germany ~ 24th Feb 2012
