Vintage Hostel in , Francie

The Vintage Hostel was well located (closest Metro stop was Anvers, but was about a 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord), clean and had friendly/helpful staff. I have stayed at a few different hostels in Paris and I think this is the best one I've stayed in yet. Michael, from USA ~ 6th Dec 2012

The room and the bad didn't look like clean, because everything was very old. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to open the window in our room (4 people), and there wasn't any air circulation on the bad The walls of the bad were kind of rotten (black/ brown). For a towel you need to pay extra 1€, which I didn't know before I paid for the reservation. They announced the room with a hair dryer, but it was broken. Rebecca, from Germany ~ 6th Dec 2012

It would be good to have wi-fi on the bedrooms. You could care a bit more about guests arriving late. I arrived at the hostel at 1.30am and had to do my bed with the lights off cuz the other guests were already sleeping. Not nice! We ar a family with two children 8 and 11 years old. We booked a familyroom with 4 beds. It was Ok. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Walking distance to Gare du Nord and Sacreceur. Nice surrondings. Typical Paris atmosphere. The carpet in the corridors and in the rooms are dirty/very dirty. Except the carpet it was good value for money. The elvator stops beetween the floors, so if you have a heavy suitcase you should be prepared to tare it for a few steps. Steinar, from Norway ~ 5th Oct 2012
