Strange owner. My CD player and my CDs have been stolen during my stay there. It is very cramped, we are 6 in very little rooms (3 per beds, never seen that before). Only two bathrooms for a lot of rooms, so the bathrooms are always busy. I didn't like the atmosphere there. Friendly but incompetent staff. One point for the internet : it's only $1/10' and you can print (each page must take 3' from your time account) ; but you can access the internet for free at the Martin Luther King Jr Memor

This stoner asshole who runs the place is a joke. After spending most of your day trying to find the one small glass door that leads up to this place. We wanted a refund after 3 minutes of checking in because I realized that it was going to be cheaper and less hassle to be at a hotel. The reception girl gave us our money back with a 10% charge after talking with the owner Directly, that was fine. this place was very home-ly it had a very relaxed atmosphere, as if you were staying in someones house. i loved the people, but if your into a quiet nights rest youve picked the wrong hostel, because its located in Adams Morgan its a great location if you're of age. I'd definately come back if i ever get the chance!

Entry is difficult andthe stairs are not for luggage or the feeble, kitchen could use some upgrading, first hostel for me, ok if you travel light and with someone, rooms are very small and cramped, Steve tries but could use ve more sensitive with his language.
