YHA Bath in Pamukkale, Anglie

Yes, I had organised to have cooked breakfast for 5 of my family and was told in the morning NO as I didn't have tokens. I said to the girl that I was not told i needed tokensthe night before just the number of people for cooked breakfast. She was quite rude in front of people which was embarrsing for me and my family. We stayed two nights here end of February and the toilet near our room was not cleaned during our stay. This was quite obvious as the toilet was to dirty even to look at. In addition there was lack of cooking gear. Normally I enjoy staying in a hostel, I never felt any reason to complain. This is the first time. We found this hostel to be a wonderful experience. The building is gorgeous and has lots of period features, like a fireplace in the spacious womens dorm room that we stayed in. It was very affordable, however, they charge you for absolutely everything, including WIFI, which is 5 GBP to use 24 hours, kind of a bad deal. Its a quick bus ride from downtown or you can take a taxi for cheap if you get lazy. The common areas are nice and the kitchen is enormous. I would definitely stay here again. I had a broken bed light, the beautiful balcony was out of order and the bathroom a little dirty. But the price apologised that! It´s not easy to stay cheaper in Bath. The team of YHA was nice, but didn´t fulfill my wish to repair the bed light (because they had a lot to do).. Julia, from Germany ~ 4th Aug 2011

never saw anyone at the front desk. a maid had to check us in.no car park, you have to park your car on a very steep hill and hike to the hostel.but it was clean and an interesting building. Jasie, from USA ~ 14th Jul 2011
