Pros: - The breakfast (full English and continental) is truly great and totally worth the 3 pounds (you won\\\\\\\'t get anything better in Cambridge)! - The staff was really nice and helpful - Nice new sheets on the beds Cons: - Only one bathroom for around 15 people on one floor - There are no security lockers in the rooms and the ones in the luggage room cost 2-3 pounds per use (you don\\\\\\\'t get your money back after use) - mattresses are really thin and beds are ra Philipp, from Germany ~ 3rd Apr 2012

This is the only hostel in Cambridge, and your cheapest option for accommodation. I would stay here again, as it has fairly reasonable prices and an ok location, but it is not particularly fun or pleasant. Anita, from Norway ~ 2nd Mar 2012

Rooms are basic, but clean. Plenty of bathrooms, so no waiting. Large kitchen. You can't get anywhere without a keycard, which makes it a safe place. Staff are friendly and helpful. All the showers were dank and mouldy smelling and had not one shelf or hook for a towel, or clothes, or a washbag. Bedrooms had no hooks for any coat either. Walls in entire house incredibly thin and the doors bang shut so that ear plugs are needed. However, superb staff who were very helpful and friendly and a lovely breakfast. This was one of the most personality-less hostels I've been at in my past 5 weeks of travel, which is unfortunate because it's the only hostel available in Cambridge. They booked me for a day that they were actually full on, and they said they would help with other accommodation but didn't. You have to pay for internet here - nothing really is free and the food they do offer is overpriced.
