YMCA Universitaria Hostel in , Romania

We had a double room ensuite. It was rather an apartment really close to everything. I don't know about the actual dorms.But we were mostly amazed by the staff. They really did much more than you would expect to help us :) 100% recommended. Mariya, from Bulgaria ~ 12th Jul 2011

Since we booked a double bedroom and the actual hostel is currently being renovated, we stayed in a one-bedroom apartment very close to Piata Unirii, literally 100m away. The place was clean and the host was very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the bus stop, always left sweets, water and soda in the fridge for us and gave us useful tips on good and affordable restaurants. The only drawback was the bathroom. Bogdan and Monica were incredible. They picked us up at the airport and got us to our apartment. We would never figured ot how to navigate Bucharest.Bogdan went above and beyond in helping us find the subway,bus and helping us with the language.We felt welcomed and taken care of.
