I highly recommend staying at Ramiro's House. He is a very friendly and helpful host. The breakfasts are great. He also helped us with accomodation in other cities. The house is walking distance to the Plaza de la Revolution. You will need to get a bus or a taxi to the city centre, but its only 5-10 ride away or a 30-40 minute walk. Paul & Laura.

Ramiro's house was a great place to start our vacation in Cuba! Ramiro speaks english and helped us plan our trip around Cuba. Both him and his wife are very friendly and we felt very safe and welcome in their house in havana! Hope to come back someday! Trine and Jannie, Denmark

Ramiro is a very nice person, he speaks perfect English, and offered us all his help in every moment. He served us nice meals for a good price, he was a great tour guide and he contacted with other hostels in other cities or villages of Cuba in which we also had a pleasant time for a good price. There is even a bus next to his house that leaves u in the center of Havana. I strongly recommend any visitor to stay at his place
