We had had some questions before pur arrival so we wrote an eMail to the contact eMail adress. The guy that answered the eMails, Mr Jo Nacubo, was kind of strange. He wanted to sell us a more expensive room instead of answering our questions. At the beginning pretty friendly he became unfriendly as he realized that he cannot sell anything more. But now after our visit to Fiji you must say that it is no special case. It is very annoying that everyone wants to sell you something. Not in the resort but on the street. Beside of this story it was absolutely brilliant and i woul everyone recommand stay at this resort. You get a lot for the price.

Excellent place!! The staff here become your friends by the time you leave. They knew our names instantly (every staff member) and always called everyone by name. Breakfast and lunch are basic, good meals, the dinners are feasts and are very good. The crowd when we were there was mostly 24-35 year old couples... not too wild, and not too subdued either... all sociable. Walu have their own boat that can make pickups from Denerau marina that is cheaper than the ferrys and is direct (20 mins and you're there! Just ask them to arrange). The power is generator based, and the power usually goes out for a couple hours a day in the afternoon (which is typical for this price range). But at such a paradise, who wants to be sitting around their room anyways?! Highly recommended! Will come back!!

Amazing resort-got upgraded on arrival and had a ball-accomodation is great and the staff are really friendly. Food is also very good and the entertainment certanily kept us busy.

This place is great. I was told to head off the main island and I'm so glad I picked here. The staff are great and the place is that nice that you don't feel like you are in budget accomodation. I would definitely go back if I was in Fiji again.
