Being a family with three children, aged 4, 6 and 7, we found very convenient accomodation at Shady hotel in Louxor. the staf are very friendly and helpful. Our children felt particularly welcome and had a very pleasant time in the hotel. Only the swimming pool was too cold (which is not a surprise, in december), and we didn't always get water from the shower. We'd love to go back to Shady hotel, any time.
