A bit old fashion hostel. But it is very cheap, clean, safe and quiet. Big value for the price.

very safe inside the building and most of the guests are friendly. Met 2 girls and we went to Stanley park together.

I found this hostel is very safe and the staff is very friendly, they helped me a lot. I was here by myself, but they took good care of me.

This hostel is located probably in the worst neighbourhood in all of Canada; just one block from the famous East Hastings (i.e., drug and prostition capital of Canada). I would recommend spending the few extra dollars to stay somewhere in a better location...we didn't stay, we quickly booked elsewhere.
