we had a feeling there wasn't good communication among the staff members. When we got there we had to help get our room ready as the cleaning lady hadn't been informed we would be checking in that night. We got people coming in into our room at night as they didn't know we were there. There was also an internet room booking mistake, but when we complained they offered a bungalow for almost the same money.

bed bugs beware!!!!! i would like to say i had a wonderful stay because this hostel is in a wonderful location,with a nice beach, however several people in our hostel room were bitten by bed bugs.yes there were the actual bugs found by one of the guest who showed them to hostel staff who seemed very indifferent to the problem. we had sheets with blood spots on them wich is a huge sign of bed bugs so run if you see them on any sheets in any hotel or hostel you stay at.bed bugs can get in your luggage are almost as hard as cockroaches to kill and are almost impossible to get rid of without professional fumigator,the web sights i researched recommended throwing out anything that could'nt be washed and/or dryed at heat above 120 so i came home with only clothes in bags having to throw out almost everything i had with me. what should have been a nice vacation turned into alot of aggravation not to mention the bites that are very painful. so i would recommend other accomendations in the cook islands as there are many to choose from.

Perfect location on beach front, fairly clean aprt from the ants in the kitchen- got used to them!! was worth the view!!! Friendly and helpful staff will be back next yr :-)
