Vana Tom is a great hostel at the optimal location for a Tallinn visit. Sleeping at the hostel though is not gonna be easy though when sober (walls don't block any noise from the corridor or outside). Then again, who goes to Tallinn to sleep anyway

The Hostel ist really good situated in the center but unfortuatelly there was construction work going on when we were there and nobody told us that when we booked. So rooms were not very clean but the bathroom was super!

6 nights we were and we faded a bag with milk and food.there is no common room, the kitchen is very very small and there are only 5 dishes for the whole hostel. We were going 9 people and did not have dishes for dinner all at once

avoid the room 4 second floor, there is a russian girl totally crazy and a little bit agressive. she also uses creme bonjour for her skin...

We stayed for 5 days in Tallinn - and the hostel was good. It's located directly in the old town so you can easily reach everything on foot. They got a 24h reception so there was no problem by entering the hostel or even buying drinks in the middle of the night. Our room was quiet small but really nice and we were really lucky by getting a room to the backyard. As the hostel is located that central there are a lot of pubs around, so its not really quite at night. The staff was friendly and alwa
