It was nice and peaceful. It was freezing but apart from that I enjoyed my stay and would come back again. Thanks x caroline

First time in a hostel and I wasnt expecting much. Biggest let down was security the fact doors cannot be locked and there isnt anywhere to store valuables. Although I appreciate this is low cost accomodation the place does need a bit of an over haul. Staff were ok, having read other reviews about the "great" staff i was expecting a bit more effort.

I would definitely recommend staying at Arnies. It was clean, hospitable, full of character (and characters) and had a friendly, family feel without being clostrophobic in any way. My only recommendation is a wooden shower mat/board in the shower room as it did not take long for the current towel used as a showermat to become sopping wet, negating its usefulness all together.

If you prefer to have wonderful holidays, I do not recommend to stay at this hostel. I did book a 4-bed room there during Easter holidays and got much troubles. Those rubbish bunk beds were very tiny and had no stairs or ladders, we had to climb by ourselves. The heater in the bedroom did not work and the cold wind could leak from a very old window. Blankets were not warm enough. There were only 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets for all customers that should be more than 20 persons if it's fully booked.

Funy and cosy. Very cheap, also!
