I feel we were kind of tricked into paying for the room before we saw it - others we saw were much better than ours. Our room was poky, small and uninspiring. The bed was so rickety that every time one of us turned in our sleep, it woke us both up. PLUS we had a big problem with bed bugs, which we still continue to itch from.

If you can get past the blood stained sheets, faulty toilets and sketchy location, this place may be fine were it not for the rude, unhelpful, nasty woman who seems to run the place. She single-handedly ruined our last night in KL with her terrible attitude. We will never return to this hostel OR its affiliate, Greenhut Lodge (where the same woman also marred our February stay in KL, unbeknownst to us, she works at both) due to this wretched woman

Very basic hostel - a man appeared in my \"female only\" dorm and I moved to the Rainforrest B&B around the corner which is 100 times nicer!

Heater wasn't working, there were no blankets, the room was old and dusty, the toilet bowl was leaking... I decided to moved out after the 2nd night - couldn't get a refund either.

Good enough for backpackers that just need a place to stay. Lots of strict rules though, but excellent location.
