Looked and sounded good on the net but water pressure was terrible in shower and there was construction going on while we were there - starting at 7 in the morning. Didn't make for a good experience. Also, the location is quite far from the centre of town and taxi costs could add up. Very Hostelly...

i had a terrible time staying at this hostel, there were enginering works that started at 7am every morning. we confronted the staff about it every day and they kept telling us that the work would be finished that day. i would never go back here.

We had a very nice stay at the Koala Youth Hostel in Shanghai. The staff was incredible nice (and charming) and generaly the hostel was more than we expected!
