This was probably the best hostel we stayed in during our trip. It is very cozy, clean, has hot showers and the staff was warm and helpful. I definitely recommend it for anyone who's traveling in Mexico on a shoestring but doesn't want to be reminded of it

A very good hostel in a great location considering the price. However, being so close to everything leaves the beautiful courtyard empty most of the day, making it a bit quite.

Overall i would say this is a good place to stay and the staff is very helpful. The location is also excellent. The only problem is the kitchen, which is not really a kitchen. There are two gas burners and not much soap to wash the dishes. Other than the kitchen its a good place to stay.

Im travelling alone and wanted a single, private room but had to pay for a double room via the website. However, the manager kindly adjusted the amount I had to pay so thats a plus. The free breakfast is good as are all the other freebies. My only complaint is you need to ask for the hot water to be switched on before you take a shower. Other than that, its a nice little hostal.
