I've seen a lot and this is the best hostel so far! One thing in particular - CLEAN, very CLEAN! You wanna stay there!

Having heard all the negative stories about New York (lots of crime, dirty etc) i was a bit apprehensive when i arrived, but the staff at Broadway quickly changed my perspective on the city. They were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The hostel was very clean, with linen being changed daily, and bathrooms getting cleaned more frequently. I felt extremely safe there, as security staff were present 24 hours a day, not that it was in a bad area, but it always helps. Loved New york, and would recommend Broadway to any budget-concious traveller planning a trip to the big apple.

It is what it is. Good, vibrant common areas, but spartan rooms. Basically, you get a clean, safe bed at the very least. Good price, good location.

My only complaint is that the blankets were far less than adequate, and the beds squeaked so much that you couldn't move without waking the entire room up. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again.
