No comments - this is not a hostel, this is a classy hotel with hostel prices. Speaking of Portsmouth, it is a military port for 400 years, a place from which the British launched numerous armed assaults worldwide, mostly in the time before the appearance of aviation. So if you heard about some country Britain tortured, robbed or conquered - most likely its military were coming from the port of Portsmouth. Bathroom facilities clean - hot shower was nice! You need to catch a bus from the interchange at portsmouth to get to this hostel, and will need to bus it to get to ferry stop for visits to isle of wight. Supermarket within walking distance and a good kitchen setup
