Very clean and ok to stay for 1 night for the experience. Half hour walk away from town!

Bathrooms were really clean, but it was far out from the town centre, but if thats the only problem we found, then you should be really happy!

Jailhouse hostel was a bril hostel and will be recommending it to everyone i know heading to christchurch. Plus we will be back again for a another short stay in prison, we loved it. Dont change anything about the place.

Excellent hostel, would definately stay again. The only thing I didn't like was the distance to the city, but what could they do? I highly reccomend it!
