the room we had was quite different with the ones on photos, smaller and less lighted, but the location and the staff are very good, it was clean, simply, lucky to have room neighbors quiet. The best of this lodge : the location,it seems a safe area, warmly staff, internet access very cheap, restaurant inside with low prices and possibility to do a tour from the lodge. We recommend this place, but don't look at the photos....

Room is small but clean overall. Try to upgrade yourself to a private ensuite with bathroom, thus you will get yourself some privacy and a TV! Staff are great, they will try to help you in any way they can. Great location, near an MRT and chinatown - which is where the stop for the new KL hop on -hop off bus is located. Mostly only locals stay at the hostel and predominately male.

It is quite intimidating if you are a female here, there are about 10 men who work here and they linger in the reception and either stare at you or pester you. Our room was the size of a cupboard and the bunk beds were half broken.

My room had no window, full of smell. The toilet was a bit dirty and everything was just basic! Well, staff was good and helpful though.
