We were welcomed by the staff and made to feel at home. A cake was made for my daughter's birthday and we felt that we were very well looked after. We would definitely recommend the Imani Beach lodge to other travellers. The food was excellent quality and there was enough variety for everyone to choose from.

The hostel showed up not to be operational at all! But we are not really disappointed because the owner made it up to us plenty -> we ended up on a private Island with a much higher standard than what we payed for

The discription of a hive of peace and tanaquality was very misleading as there was a very loud night club next door to the hotel, were 3 at of the 7 nights we had next to no sleep as the music went on intill 4 am!. We were also over charges by £250.00 which did not come to our attention till a few days later,as myself and my friend wanted to pay in tanznian shillings for the final bill, we were charged a converstion rate 4 times more than the aiport would have charged also the deposite for the room was not taken off of the final bill. This them resulted leaving myself and my friend with next to money for the rest of our holiday. We both feel very upset that this hotel could be so untrufull and take our money.I would never return to Zanzibar or recomend anyone to visit this country or hotel, I feel very agreaved by the whole experience.
