We used the washing machines here and our washing came out blue. We told reception and battled with them to give us some dollars to rewash our ruined clothes. The reception staff were very unhelpful and quite rude. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay there.

One of the nicest hostels i have ever stayed in- partly because it;s actually not so much a hostel as a hotel with shared rooms so you get tons of extras like TV, ensuite bathroom, cooking facilites in the room and a huge swimming pool. The wallaby feeding is also a definite highlight.

We stayed 2 nights in a 4 mixed bed dorm, was fantastic, we were just at the bottom of the Macdonnell Range, fantactic view on the mountain. Was really clean. The bathroom is in the room. One mattress wasn't good, need to be changed. A supermarket at 5 min walk. the only point is the staff, the girls were not very friendly, no smile, the only one in our long trip....too bad, that is so important. But the place is definitely a good one.
